Cartharsis
Add to cart. Feel better. Buy nothing.
01
A real shop, selling nothing
124 products across 15 categories with invented brands, plausible specs, and honest-looking prices. Flash deals rotate; wishlist prices mysteriously drop.
02
Hold to pay the full price
The Imagination Express card (balance: infinite) takes a dramatic moment, a checkmark lands with a click you can feel, and your card is charged exactly $0.00.
03
Confetti for money kept
The order lands, the money-you-kept counter ticks up, and the urge passed without a bill. First orders get the bigger sky.
04
Watch nothing arrive
Every order ships into live tracking: a courier carries your void across a route map, occasionally by rocket, briefly stopping to pet a dog.
Why it exists
Inspired by South Korea's dopamine sites: fake shopping platforms that stressed users visit for the joy of ordering without the bill. Most of shopping's dopamine is anticipation, not ownership. Cartharsis keeps the anticipation and deletes the credit card.
About this project
A dopamine shopping simulator for Android. Browse 124 invented products across 15 categories, hunt flash deals, fill your cart, hold to pay with the Imagination Express card, and watch a little courier carry your nothing across town. Nothing is real, nothing is charged, and nothing arrives. Inspired by South Korea's dopamine sites trend, it keeps the anticipation of shopping and throws away the bill: no payments, no ads, no accounts, and no data leaving the device.
